Good luck. Factoring is as follows: Imagine this: say you have sold $10000 of widgets to retailer X, but you have them on "net 30" so you won't see the money for 30 days. However, you need money NOW. You can call up a factor company who will offer to buy that $10000 receivables for a discount. Say, $8500. You lose $1500, but you get the money NOW. They make the $1500 by investing the $8500 now and make it in 30 days.
(That's just an example, actual numbers will be different) As for asset based lending, that's basically lending on what the business OWNS vs. the business OWNER. Unless your business has significant assets, doubt asset based lending would help. See if there are special government loans that you qualify for. What is asset based lending and factoring?
After surveying 995 adults, 81.5% of whom were over 30, the National Sleep Foundation reported that 36.8% of all adults snored. 32% of the respondents were snorers over the age of 30.
What percent of the respondents were under 30 and did not snore?
The answer is 13.7%...please show work as to how you do this problem. Thank you in advance!

..................Snored......NSnored
Over 30.....318.............493.......811
.
Under 30.....48............ 136.......184
.................366.......... .629.......995
What percent of the respondents were under 30 and did not snore? 136/995 = 0.137*100 = 13.7%
0.815·995 = 810.925
0.32·995 = 318
0.368·995 = 366
I need some statistcs here that are hard to find...
Out of 1+ million heart attacks that happen each year in the USA alone, what percentage of them could have been prevented through simple changes to diet AND activity level (ie: exercise)? Also, what percentage could have been prevented through treatment of stress, sleep disorders, and depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation type disorders. etc.? I especially need the stats on mental, sleep problems, and stress related heart attacks.
If you have any of these stats, it would be great if you would share them. Thanks- Dave
If you don't know for sure and have to make an educated guess on these percentages, feel free to do so. It will at least push me in the right direction...
I'm not looking for people's statements on how genetics play the biggest role in disease (heart attacks) and that lifestyle has nothing to do with lessening chances of developing diseases. Infact, that assumption is now mostly incorrect and has been proven incorrect though Epigenetic research (the newest field of science) very recently for a number of diseases (including cancer, depression, even stress). New epigenetic research has been showing how the environment and food that organisms are exposed to actually determines which genes are "turned off" or "turned on" including the "bad genes" that create pathways of physiological expression that makes you vulnerable to (or causes) heart disease, cancer, depression, etc... Get with the times, do a little research and read newer articles. You are not a helpless victim of genes, but of your diet and environment which can be changed.

Very few. Genetics plays a huge part in health, lifestyle matters very little.
