What is asset based lending and factorin…

What percent of the respondents were under 30 and did not snore.

I’m unable to qualify for a bank loan for my small business. I’ve heard of asset based lending and factoring, but am not sure how it would work for me and how I go about finding someone who does this and help me make sure that asset based lending is the right thing to do. My banker didn’t know who to recommend me to. Asset based lending is where a finance company will lend you money based upon your accounts receivable balance (take a lien on A/R). Generally a company will look at your receivables (as well as some other financial information) and develop an availability (what they would be willing to lend you).

this is more expensive than a traditional bank loan but less expensive than actually factoring. A factor actually purchases your receivables (rather than taking a lien on them like they would in ABL).

Factoring is generally pretty expensive. Depending on the type business you're in and what geograpic area you're in there are tons of companies that do these types of transactions. A place to start looking would be ABF Journal or look up asset based lending companies on line.

After surveying 995 adults, 81.5% of whom were over 30, the National Sleep Foundation reported that 36.8% of all adults snored. 32% of the respondents were snorers over the age of 30. What percent of the respondents were under 30 and did not snore? The answer is 13.7%...please show work as to how you do this problem. Thank you in advance!

..................Snored......NSnored Over 30.....318.............493.......811 . Under 30.....48............ 136.......184 .................366.......... .629.......995 What percent of the respondents were under 30 and did not snore? 136/995 = 0.137*100 = 13.7% 0.815·995 = 810.925 0.32·995 = 318 0.368·995 = 366

I need some statistcs here that are hard to find... Out of 1+ million heart attacks that happen each year in the USA alone, what percentage of them could have been prevented through simple changes to diet AND activity level (ie: exercise)? Also, what percentage could have been prevented through treatment of stress, sleep disorders, and depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation type disorders. etc.? I especially need the stats on mental, sleep problems, and stress related heart attacks. If you have any of these stats, it would be great if you would share them. Thanks- Dave If you don't know for sure and have to make an educated guess on these percentages, feel free to do so. It will at least push me in the right direction... I'm not looking for people's statements on how genetics play the biggest role in disease (heart attacks) and that lifestyle has nothing to do with lessening chances of developing diseases. Infact, that assumption is now mostly incorrect and has been proven incorrect though Epigenetic research (the newest field of science) very recently for a number of diseases (including cancer, depression, even stress). New epigenetic research has been showing how the environment and food that organisms are exposed to actually determines which genes are "turned off" or "turned on" including the "bad genes" that create pathways of physiological expression that makes you vulnerable to (or causes) heart disease, cancer, depression, etc... Get with the times, do a little research and read newer articles. You are not a helpless victim of genes, but of your diet and environment which can be changed.

Very few. Genetics plays a huge part in health, lifestyle matters very little.
