Web help software
310M? Should I grab a 1GB version or will 512MB be sufficient? I know it may seem like I’ve already answered my questions, but then I throw the sexy MacBook Pro in there and I start all over MacBook Pro’s are only running the Core 2 Duo 2.53ghz with silly OLD video cards. Starting at 2GB of memory forces me to dish out more money for a 4GB version. But I LOVE how slim they are (0.95″), simple, lightweight, and very sexy chasis design (it’s hard to want anything else). Not to mention the viewing angle on the screen is almost 180 degrees On some (like the Dell I saw at Best Buy last night was only about 45 degrees). I’m even playing with the idea of getting a Blu-Ray put into it, but that isn’t a priority. Windows 7 PRO is a must I’ve priced out some nice ones on HP, Sony, and Dell, but from what I hear Sony has a high defect rate on their fans which tend to be ridiculously loud after a short amount of time. Am I throwing too much money into getting the 1gb vid card over the 512mb? Or the i7 over the core 2 duo? Sorry, I’m frustrated and having a difficult time finding A laptop that has what I want all under one chasis (you’d think that’d be easy, but typically it has one thing and leaves one thing out) I’m not a PC or Apple fan. I’m familiar with both and love both for different reasons But I wanted to give Windows 7 a try after hearing it’s Windows most stable OS to date. (My favorite was Windows 2000 which never crashed, but was definitely not gamer friendly). I also don’t want a behemoth of a laptop so I am only wanting one that is 15″ or less, slimmer the better, lighter the better. :) I know I’m difficult, I just wish I could BUILD my own! BTW, I’d like to stay below $1,500 because I want to get a 24″ monitor to go with it preferably in the $1000-$1200 range if possible. Thanks for anyone who can help!! More than half don’t know what they’re talking about, and they’re salesmen first before advisors so they’ll try to sell me on THEIR product when I just want the RIGHT product. I just got an https:// proxy to work, but it won’t load flash windows for browser-based games for some reason. However, I’ve been able to load these flash games when the web filter has gone down, or when I’ve been granted open internet for research. It would be much easier if I could just bypass barracuda entirely, but I don’t have the administrator name and password to do so. This same password is often needed to install new software, (like updating flash, which I believe could also be part of the game problem I’ve been having) or to open applications already on my mac, but ‘I don’t have permission to use’.
