Trend Micro Internet Security Tech Stuffs Ok, lets look at the antivirus and see how it goes. . . Trends antivirus has always been a top-notch scanner so I was eager to have something anything go right. I initiated a full scan of the system and the scanner went to work.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Trend Internet Security 2009, based on my own experiences with it. It has the feel of being pre-beta software that is still under active development and was rushed to market. Trend Micro is not stopping Fake AntiVirus programs from By: bgregoire, Forum: Antivirus, I have had several users complain of fake Anti-Virus programs being installed lately.

Our current anti-virus program Trend Micro Security Client does nothing to stop them from installing.

I've spent the past few days installing and checking out random ticketing software written for PHP/MySQL, and they all suck. I just need a simple interface that can import tickets via email, assign to a queue/owner, easy to install, intuitive interface, but I've so far fallen short. Any suggestions?

If you want something done to your specifications, consider hiring someone to do it. What is easy and intuitive to you won't necessarily be easy and intuitive to another person...

try these :) http://eticket.sourceforge.net/ http://www.osticket.com/docs.php http://osscripts.com/ http://www.opensourcehelpdesklist.com/

I know thats a tuff program to use but I need to customise my own script to my likes. This is how I think i will learn it. What I really want is something similar to this. http://n3x.realitymedias.com/?browse=products.details&software=1&addcart=1 Click on Online Demo I have tried to have people clone this but they are charging to much and I rather do it my self and learn how to .. If some on out there can tell me what software I will need to make things easy for me ex: HTML = Front Page, Dreamweaver (Design Mode) thanks..

PHP is just text, so Notepad all you really nee, but Notepad Plus colors the text according to syntax (and does a few other nice things), so it make it easier. (It's free.) You'll also need a php-equipped website to test your code - XAMPP installs one on your computer (also free). http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html HTML definitely does not = Front Page, any more than car running well = sugar in the gas tank. And HTML = Dreamweaver only if you have monry you need to get rid of. Professionals think it's a joke. (What you see in DW is not what you see on the site.) If you really need a Sherman tank to drive 2 feet, use Aptana Studio (also free, and it beats the socks off Dreamweaver even before you run it).

I'm looking to have some kind of support/ticket system and am looking for the best free PHP script.

I can't answer for the best free application. However I have been using Kayako and it is a pretty good solid script. I recommend using it if you can afford it.

I've been researching a bit, but I've come up blank. I need a ticket system my employees can use when a customer calls with an issue so that we can track it. Here are my biggest stipulations that I have: 1. Needs to hosted locally (preferably php/mysql) 2. Needs to handle all email from customers 3. Needs configurable fields 4. Would like to avoid a "whole package" solution like SugarCrm Thanks in advance!

i'm trying to create a ticketing system for a small football team as part of my project. I'm having trouble in how to go about it. I can get my html to connect to my database, and perform simple calculations with PHP but is there a way i can do multiple tables in mysql and when a booking for a ticket is made, it reduces the amount of tickets left? also is it possible to do this and split each game into stands too? Can someone show me the direction in how i can get this done? thankss

I am new to php, and i am making a simple ticket validation system for my school in the theatre, So we scan all the purchased barcodes from the ticket into the form which then posts the barcode data into insert.php which uploads that number to the database (this process would be done before people get there tickets). So now we need to invalidate the ticket, so we scan the tickets that people bring in for the show and that goes into the deleteform.php which is just a text box and a submit button, and i need to post that to a delete script to take that number out of the database. can any one help! More Info: So here is my form for posting the ticket number/barcode to the insert.php script which uploads the number to mysql database.
Ticket Number:
and here is the insert.php script. Now i need the same form i used above to enter a ticket number into and that number needs to be sent to a delete.php script or somthing to delete that number off mysql. and if that number is already deleted i need a error message like "No ticket with that number available. If anyone could help me that would be great!
