Most browsers have a 'zoom' option. In Firefox it is under the 'view' menu option (or hit 'Ctrl' and ++), On Chrome it's a setting under the page icon (or again ctrl ++) with IE it's the same as Firefox but the shortcut is ctrl+

The Website created in Dreamweaver.

Research CSS and how to specify widths in percentages in CSS.

Hi there. Trying to make a site in Fireworks CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4, and I am currently having difficulty making the website so that the middle section stretches to fit the screen resolution of the viewer. I have a header, a footer (both slices from Fireworks), a CSS menu made in fireworks, a small image that is in the bottom right corner, overlapping the footer somewhat. Just giving the details in case that helps.

i made the site out of flash cs3 on my school's computers which have monitors bigger than mine at home. so i made my website to that it fits the screen of the school computers, but i looked at my website at home and its all weird. is there a way i can get it to stretch to fit different monitors? like some actionscript i can type in some where? also does anyone have any ideas that would improve my website? heres the url http://teachers.bsd405.org/burkej/6andrewm02/ and i know, at the moment the black history month link doesnt work and the writing on the homepage sucks. and there are no pictures yet. but i just made it and im working on improving it. thanks so like 100% would take up 100% of the screen? and then like less then that is a lower percentage of the screen? oh and i know that bye stretching the page it will mess up the background image, so im going to change the background to a solid color

You'll need to change the width to %. for example: width: 80%

Pages: 1 2
