Software piracy information

well dont take me for that because i think people are looking to close to what the games a related to and trying to find out how to make them work on ofw, i think we need to look away from that and look at things like psp software exp go! cam demos and portals as a way of making games work on a psp. i agree it will be a while before anyone says eurika!!! or THATS IT!!! and i also agree the sony will probably patch the problem as soon as its discovered, what i also think is that stupid people that make videos on youtube all displaying the same bloody tutorial on how to add a demo or my favourite 10 portals or how to add a theme, WE DONT NEED all these videos upwards of 3000+ videos on the same thing when you go the the websites that we download the goodies from they supply us with the informnation on how to add them and put them on a psp, all these people on youtube making the videos are doing 2 things being sheep making the same video as the person before and blatently advertising to sony what they need to patch up, and as for portals why do we need videos on youtube saying my favourite 10 portals when there are only 10 bloody portals to downloas as to date.

i think that if we have any future to all these psp goodies we need to stop advertising how to do things like install pandora batterys and memory sticks and add games and portals on places like youtube where some worker at sony will just see the video talk to the boss or other workers and find a way of patching or stopping these goings on. we need to confine the tutorials and information on websites only where they allready supply info on how to do their sepecific hack, so that sony has a harder time finding these websites findiing out how to stop it. all these people on youtube who add unesecary videos over and over again who think they are helping are just making it worse for the psp hacking community as every new video added on had to do this or that on the psp is 1 more video sony can relate to take the info and shut the hack down via a new update we wont make any progress if we have people like this.. 1 of you people reading this must agree with me, we need to remove the videos confine the hacks to websites and use the tutorials provided on the website. case rested. sorry for my typing errors, i was typing quickly as i always do. psp full games for ofw and idea by me.? im writing a paper for school on software piracy (4 pages long) and i was wonderingif anyone could give me some links to good information on it. like facts, figures, and information, etc. the paper is mostly about the harmful effects of piracy on society and business today. thanks in advance can i have some links to some good sites on information about software piracy? Like I said, I’m not denying it being breaking the law with big trouble for you if you spread copyrighted stuff via BitTorrent for instance, but in your opinion how much harm is it? Let’s put it this way – I once knocked onto a forum, where a certain program was discussed and somebody asked for help about it while somehow mentioning that he had torrented it. One of the honest buyers immediately stormed him with “torrenting it is just like stealing it off a store shelf. ” Now everybody ought to understand that even if you did pirate a program, NEVER mention it on a forum ;), but I should point out that it isn’t exactly like stealing it off a store shelf in the sense that all he got was an exact copy of an online store item which many others have downloaded after paying and no box material or transportation fees ever went into that exact copy specifically. This is where I’ll point out that of course somebody needs to get payed for compiling the program (which is far from an easy task) and if everybody just pirated it, the maker would just go bankrupt. But, if you think about it, isn’t buying a non-material form of information, like a movie or something, online simply getting it free and donating the price to the makers to fund their continuous work? What if even without it being available as a torrent, I wouldn’t buy it no matter how I wanted it and simply got it this way because it was free? It’d mean that I wouldn’t have payed anyway, but didn’t cause any material damage by getting it this way either. You heard of this Deviance thing going on around torrenting sites? It’s this group of computer users who release free torrents of games while always adding this message to a readme file that comes along – “After playing it, buy it. We did. ” And that’s the golden truth – if you want the makers to make a good sequal, some other good product or improve the existing, go ahead and pay them! They need it to continue work, bring the bread on the table and pay their bills ;). But if you just get a copy like in the instance afore mentioned, is it bad? Better yet, what if the program has an active online community going about it and by getting it this way you simply start actively taking part in it, contributing to it aso.

while not having enough money to buy it in any imaginable closer time? I mean software isn’t food – you don’t NEED it, so pirating it can’t be called disrupting the economy of highly necessary goods. In fact making it is just taking the risk of no-one bothering to buy it anyway, unless of course you’re fulfilling the people’s hidden desires and cutting a buck of of it ;), which of course isn’t part of the overall economy’s backbone. So, yeah. If you read all the mumbo-jumbo above, you probably understood that I’m not trying to initiate some crazy revolution against copyright but just squeezing out your opinions ;). So, who’s first? By the way, I’ll note that in a broad sense I only meant entertainment based stuff. I just didn’t want to put the word “game” everywhere so’s you’d think I’m a big Quake junkie X). Is torrent piracy really a crime (without trying to deny that legally it is) ? what is software piracy and is it realy threat for information technology.? it is assignment given to me by my university and i want to help in respect to solve my assignment, and also increasment in my information too. “Is software piracy really a threat for IT industry? “? maximum 10 points define “Is Software Piracy a Threat to the Information Technology Industry”? That’s just a big cop out and you know it! Money is no excuse for this criminal behavior. It’s still a crime and against the law. It’s also stealing. You should be thankful that dvd’s do not cost about $40-50 when they first came out. Besides if like the movie and it’s stars or director, I’ll support their work. Illegal downloading affects everyone involved in the movies business, not just the big stars who often get like.50 for every DVD sold. That’s not much if you are stealing and downloading. I know that people who hold stock get nothing from these illegal downloads either. What do allyou illegal downloaders think of this news regarding BitTorrent paying $110 million to the studios? I have a small but active business selling virtual goods online. I am having a hard time finding a good CRM program for Mac. I'm using google spreadsheet right now, but it's not really designed to also manage a customer database, and I would like to be doing that. Something like Salesforce is WAY too much for me, as I don't have leads to follow or vendors to track. Basically, I need to manage three sets of data in tandem: Customers, Sales, and Inventory Files. I need them all to be customizable because the data I collect is not really traditional. (For instance, I never get customer home addresses, because I do not need them.) Is there some kind of simple program for Mac that does this? Just a tiny step above Googledocs? I don't want to spend $300 or whatever it is for filemaker or bento and then find out that they're overkill for my needs. For what it's worth, I also tried zoho.com and while it's something closer to what I want, I find their site a bit confusing.

to find the best CRM especially for a small business such as yours, you should go shopping for it. you might think that it's tiring but it's the only way that you'll find the best program that would fit your needs. you might also want to check this site out for small business CRM solutions: http://www.crm-software-guide.com/small-business-crm-solutions.htm

My company currently only has a very basic online retail website, and we would like to redevelop this to boost our online sales. We are a small-mid sized re-distributor for various manufacturers, and currently handle the vast majority of our orders via phone/fax. We need a customizable Ecommerce platform that will allow us to create a very functional website with a lot of personalization for the users . We are in a unique niche, and our users require some non-standard features & ordering processes that we would need built into the site. I am looking into various solutions. Ideally, we would like a system that offers CRM, accounting, inventory, POS integration, and other enterprise management tools. I'ved looked into Oracle, but frankly, it all confuses the hell out of me. They offer so many products/solutions, i'm not sure if this is even what we need. As a redistributor we only currently carry a small inventory of product. Generally we receive orders, put in an order to the manufacturer, receive the product, and then ship it almost immediately. However, as our online business grows, eventually we'll expand our inventory to hold products we find are most desired through sales analysis/metrics. I came across a program called Magento that seems interesting...its an open source ecommerce platform. Have you used Magento? Does it sound like something that could be useful for my needs? How easy is it to add customized features/functionality? Is it worth the price?

Am doing an evaluation this very moment with Magento for a basic e-commerce website. I will copypaste the section on Magento that might help you.: Main Highlights • Multi Currency and Multi Language Support • Unlimited categories and sub • Digital Download Product Support • Discount Voucher Support • Add-On support for extra features • Better templating system than OsCommerce • Support for the following payment gateways: o Authorize.net (AIM and SIM) o PayPal Website Payments Standard (IPN) o PayPal Express Checkout o PayPal Website Payments Pro o LinkPoint o YourPay Pros: Much more advanced than other systems. Free to install and use anywhere. source system . Cons: less features than Jshop, due to its offering could be difficult to use and its loading time has been reported to be slow in comparison to other eCommerce systems http://www.magentocommerce.com/

Where can I find a good developer/IT guy that would aid in the implementation of this?

Oracle, like IBM, sells service contracts. For xxx dollars they promise to bring whatever it takes to answer your questions. So be very aware you are not buying, just 'renting'. I do like Oracle however. I like their PeopleSoft -- it combines task management with customer service -- think receptionist handling incoming calls. Very nice. But to customize any of that... xxx dollars they promise to bring even more of whatever it takes to answer your questions. It's a money pit. I watched IBM attempt an online music store charging $50k / month plus temp labor for data entry. Three server crashes, redo the data entry. Bigger service contract sold. In the end the online music store never happened. Whatever solution is installed, it will be database-driven. If it were me, the custom solution points to PHP / mySQL / Linux / Apache. You could be modular with both the hardware and the software. You need a web server IT guy. From there, you can say "We have db-based POS , what can we tie into for P/L statements? Our accountant wants ledgers, will XX package accept data from our X db?" Visualize an input form that fits into a computer window. Draw a representation of that form and draw arrows on a wall diagram. That's how the IT guy understands you exactly.
