Sales leads software
I was at the sale with my sister and she was going to buy it, but when they plugged it in it wouldn’t boot. I offered $10 for the tower alone, and the lady said she would do that because she would be able to sell the rest separately and come close to what they wanted for it. When I got it home I found the power supply was bad, and someone had replaced the hard drive.
Why am I telling you this? Well because it is a HP Pavilion a335w and those who are aware know that HP had a problem similar because they did something wrong software wise.
This Computer does not qualify because I put the hard drive in it, and put a purchased copy of XP on it. The processor also does not fit the bill entirely. Most of the problems with HP computers had a non intel processor involved. This one is a Intel P4 2.5GHZ 512KB cache 400mhz FSB.
For memory It has 2 512mb boards. The hard drive is a Seagate 120MB which I pulled from another HP computer (which I also thought had a bad motherboard, but now I doubt it. Will never know for sure because the trash truck ate it long ago).
