Partition corrupted in win xp bcos chkds…
Hi Friends, I have Windows XP with SP2. and two Segatte 80 GB IDE HDD's. I have partitioned the second harddisk as 10gb(8.5 GB) Free and 65 gb.(less than a GB free) Both partitions were NTFS. I had some problem with my powersupply and that made the system to down improperly. When i restarted as usual chkdsk operations were performed. When the operations performed on the second partition it tried to recover lot of orphaned files. B'cos of less disk space it unable to completed the recovery operation and restoring the MFT.
So that i am unable to open the second partition. Please give me solution to open the partition without formating. i dont want the orphaned files & i don't bother about loosing few datas. Is there any options to move the recovering files to another partition. Pls, Help me. I am having lots of important documents in that drive. Thanx in Advance.
