Merged unitedcontinental has windows 7 t…

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with windows 7 64 bit, 2.2ghz duo core processor, nvidia 230m gt graphics card ( was overclocked about a fifth), and 4gb ram. My laptop has recently been slowing down very dramatically. Back during the first few months I had it, it ran real smooth and I could run multiple tasks at once. I was able to play games on one side and watch movies on another, or do browsing, or even play two games at once, I don't know its really fast I know it is. But recently, I have been playing this one game nonstop almost for ten hours a day( its very addictive). It doesn't appear to use much of the graphics when looking at the quality, So I decided to upgrade it with Anti-Aliasing and other gaming experience improving features, but even with those in place my pc would run perfect and I could still do the same old functions. But now it has taken a dramatic change in performance overall. I feel what It used to do has now gone down really fast. I update my graphics card and sound card drivers weekly, I sometimes think that may be the reason. I have a variety of registry fixing, disk defragging and disk cleaning, and overall performance boosters already in my system that i use weekly as well, so I don't believe theres any problems there. I already had an issue of sound popping in my pc, which I believe is because of the dpc latency going up and down due to how much is needed in the pc and how much is used, which is now for some reason too much for the pc. I don't even have my sound on, yet I have to end the "audiodg.exe" process because it still takes up about a forth of my cpu usage, which still confuzzles me why. Theres also a few other very small processes I had to end which I normally didn't have to too. And I noticed alot of these slowing down issues occur when my pc gets hot, and its been breaking new heat records everyday, which means its getting slower and slower. I can barely run a single game anymore, even with the old windows classic look on for performance, and I can't take it! I don't want to send in my pc because the repairs take two weeks and usually the company doesn't really make an effort to solve the problem with my past experience with them, but if that needs to happen I'll find time to send it out, but I'm hoping to solve my problem another way. I don't know what I got to do. I don't really prefer buying a cooling pad or something because if the PC didn't need it before, why should it now. I don't want to think of my PC as old because its less than a year old. Sometimes I wonder if dust is cluttered up in the system, which I would buy an air can to clean out but I'm not sure. Also I usually have my laptop on a desk too so the heat is traveling out nicely, Maybe the fan is broken. Anyway, I want to find an solution to this problem before its completely irreversible. Please help. Thanks for reading. I already use ccleaner and I prefer to use msconfig.exe to check out startup programs, which I do also along with my other pc cleaning programs I already use ccleaner and I prefer to use msconfig.exe to check out startup programs, which I do also along with my other pc cleaning programs. And I use mcafee for my virus program too, forgot to mention, sorry.

I work in a really cold office. If we complain about the temperature, they may adjust it for a while, but it always seems to go back to the cold temperatures. I work close to some "important" men in the office who always complain it is too hot. So I think that is why they keep lowering. Anyways, we are not allowed to have space heaters. I was wondering if the heat from a lamp would help me at all? Like if it was really close to me on my desk. I am desperate for solutions. Please let me know. Thanks. Bill, unlike a disabled 3rd grader, I work in an office. I'm not sure if you read my question. I am not able to, nor do I want to change my entire wardrobe to solve this issue. I am at work......working. So I am not able to eat soup & warm drinks all day. Be realistic. I am not near any window to open the curtains. I have tried the blanket & not only does it appear unprofessional, it gets in the way of my typing. Move around & exercise, again I have a job to do, so I can't just get up & start doing jumping jacks. Weather stripping, I'm not even going to go there with you. Vents, only the maintenance people have access to that, not me. I simply want to do my job as I have before without having to make too many adjustments & just be a little less cold.

Use a heat lamp. They are used by growers for chickens to hatch eggs. They do put out heat not just light. Farm supply should have or could get you one.
