Live customer service software

Then I figured that some damned software pirate had somehow gotten my brother’s CD key somehow, noticed that it hadn’t been registered yet, and decided to register it under their Email. I told EA this, and provided proof of the key being mine/my brother’s. I took a picture of the Case, CD, and the CD key on the back of the manual, and guess what? 2 days later, “Please contact your retailer for a replacement copy.” What. The. Fudge. I provided freakin’ proof that the Hotmail account owner had stolen the CD key, and they tell me to go down to BestBuy, and ask for a replacement copy. Of course, we knew that if we took it back to BestBuy, receipt and all, they’d be all like, “Why is it our problem that EA has terrible customer service? If you want a new copy, you’d better cough up $50.” So my dad says, “Screw this, you’re gonna have to live without your online stuff.” My second problem with EA, is that they’re incompetent fools. I had recieved a free copy of Crysis Warhead from Art of War Central, and they sent me to some page on EA’s site to activate it. I entered the code, followed the steps, untill I got to this one part of the activation process that was massively screwed up. It told me to select my preferred language from some drop down box. Guess what? No drop down box! I messaged EA about it. 2 days go by, no response. I try again. Nothing. I look for an alternative way to register it on their site. I find a place, enter the code, and go to my EA Download Manager to find absolutely nothing! I message EA again, and they reply within a day. I don’t remember what they said, and I don’t have the message, but they screwed me out of my downloadable copy of Crysis Warhead. And then the day after they reply to the second message, the first one recieves a reply, “Thank you for informing us of this website glitch. With all the new stuff going on, we’ve been having a bit of trouble with the site,” or something like that. – So there you have it! EA screwed me out of a game, and refused to deal with a software pirate. Worst company ever, or WORST COMPANY EVER? They’re like the 4Kids of video games! Discuss. Problems with Electronic Arts (EA)? the finances are covered. we are making the servers out of old gaming computers for now as we only plan on releasing it so a small amount at first. We are just basically stuck on getting it onto consoles or pc’s do we need to write software and have the customers download it? do it by internet coonection, etc? hows does sony and microsoft do it? thanks in advance, how can I make my own online gaming service?(like xbox live)? I’ve heard it is purely a software issue. When I asked a customer service rep about it she claimed that they had it. Turns out they just have their on demand setup so you can start an on demand movie on one box and finish on another. Which I don’t care about. I want to be able to watch shows saved on the DVR in the living room off the box in the bedroom. Is Comcast ever actually going to enable multi-room DVR functionality? It seems that when My G/friend went to a chat room and was fighting with a well known booter/hacker my OS windows XP pro edition computer has failed to obtain an internet connection. I dont have my linksys wireless connection on my task bar even after reinstalling the software. When I try to open any browser it says page cannot be found to try to choose different search words or check my internet connection. Does anyone know how to renew Ip addresss Ive done it myself with my service provider on the phone live but going thru the menues (Automated) is do annoying and time consumeing since I have to wait for a customer sales rep and then a live tech any help would save me the hassel and be greatly appreciated “Thanks in advance” Ip address seems to have beev compromisedd.

i need help in renewing my Ip addres. Ive done it before but han? I am a IBM (now Lenovo) Thinkpad T series enthusiast. Have had 5 in a row. A few weeks back i got a new T61 Laptop and it came with Vista Business on it. OMG, i thought the days of incompatability issues, lock ups etc disappeared when Windows ME hit the dust! This is an abortion of an O/S more like a Beta version than a finished product. However, Lenovo do a ‘Downgrade from Vista to XP’ conversion disc set (at a price) which i am going to buy as an UPGRADE. Well, have you ever tried accessing Lenovo Customer Service? I would be interested in your experiences. First i get on to Scotland and a pre-recorded menu choice in a strong Scottish accent speaking at top speed. None of the menu choices seem appropriate to what i want to do so i choose the most likely. Then you sit listening to some very loud and discordant Piano chords then, if you are lucky (? ) get transfered to Calcutta or Bombay or somesuch, where you wait until a rep is free and then get a very polite Asian person, who is obviously well educated and speaks copy book English – but in a strong accent, with a speed and sibilence that has you asking him/her to repeat every 2nd word. Works 2 ways though, he/she is also asking you to repeat evry 2nd word. Finally, you get some sort of mutual understanding and, surprise surprise, your request is not actually something that this customer service rep deals with. He/she gives you a call reference number [which after 4 tries you get correct] and tells you someone else will call you. Now the someone else has not yet called, but no doubt when they do i will have to go through the whole rigmarole of giving my details all over again. As my machine is now over 30 days old I will probably be getting a bill for this – so far – abortive service. It is also highly likely that i will not be in when/if someone does call and as i wear a powerful hearing aid i cannot use a mobile phone. This looks like being a long drawn out Saga! Now to my simplistic way of thinking, my request is very simple. The conversion disk set is a standard item – so why cannot i just fill in my details on line, inputting the machine details, pay by card and have the software winging its way to me? This is my 5th Thinkpad and, luckily, i have never before needed to call customer service and my product warranties have quietly expired unused. I really do hope that the same will apply to this new one as i have very little patience with trying to get any sense from overseas call centres. The operators speak English fine but it is a foreign language to them and they do not THINK in English which is where half the problems come in. Before any of you guys scream, Racist, i am not and never have been. Think what it would be like for an Indian guy living in Calcutta talking to someone in a call centre in Dublin or Glasgow who has a strong Irish or Scottish accent, speaks Urdu but does not think in it and you will see what i mean!. PS Four hours after this post, still bouncing back and forward between Glasgow and India trying to order what is a standard Downgrade Pack described in detail by Lenovo on their website. If this is the trouble you have buying something readily available in theory, God help me if i actually ever need customer service for a technical issue. PPS Piss off Noza. It has just taken me 10 minutes and 3 different people to work out a telephone number left for me by their call centre on my answer phone!
