Im so scared to sleep please help me!?

Okay so, im thirteen and im extremely scared to sleep, sometimes, i go to my mum or sisters bed saying i've had nightmares and ive been shaking and stuff, but really, im just way to scared to sleep. I've recently watched the trailer to 'the Fourth Kind'. for those of you who don't know, its a true story about alien abduction when you sleep. ever since i saw it, i've been absolutely terrified to shut my eyes unless theres someone else in the bed with me, or if it's daylight, I dont want to bother anyone by seeing a doctor so please dont suggest it. just please tell me what i could do because nothing seems to work and im really upset and scared!

Please help! i also had that experiece when i was thirteen What i did was -I listen to heavy metal music(Death and black metal to be exact) -i over exposed my self to violent movies and horror movies after that i lost my fear on almost every fictional stuff made by the media to sell stuff well they only came at 3:33 am and it was only happening in Nome, Alaska so if it's past 3:33 and your not in Alaska then you'll be fine! believe me. it scared the living daylights out of me too! visit there and download this guide it give some use full tips http://bit.ly/sleep_well_program tell your folks about it maybe they can get you on some tylonol pm or soemthing for a few days get some rescue remedy before u go to bed and forget bout it they say its a true story, its probably been over exaggerated to make people want to watch it. the FBI have put the real dissapearences down to alcohol and cold tempratures because with very cold tempratures become hallucinations and as u probably know a fish can make u new shoes when your hallucinating and people will say anyhtin to get famous, seriously theres nothing to worry about its just a film director bending the truth to make money and sell films. ok well email me if u still feel scared because i had a similar thing with something else but as i said dont worry x tell your parents, when i was young and amytville horror scared the **** out of me i slept with my mom and dad. it always makes me feel safe, so just try sleeping with them. :D and it's actually not true, and the movies rather stupid if you must know look it up on google, it's not true.

and niether was paranormal activity. they lied to me D: and no aliens are coming to abduct you. and according to the movie it only happened in nome, alaska, and who knows, people are probably just crazy T-T but the movies not real, it's just fiction. they're just trying to scare you. good luck :D I just watched the trailer. the whole time I was thinking… DAMN! That's GREAT quality! like no joke! that 720p really was almost like 1080p! Damn!! Anyway back to your problem. I know about this kinda thing. I would describe it as sleep anxiety. the only way to really battle this is to conquer these fears. Watch horror movies till they dont seem scary anymore because you've seen so much of it. almost getting bored with it. Now, DON'T try to find real beheadings and such online as those are very very grusome and well, I wont go into detail for you. Start with cheesy horror films that arent too scary and move up to crappy ones like the ring and the grudge. and eventually (maybe) the saw movies. I personally say start with "the Others". Its actually a really good movie and isnt too scary. Move up from there! Next I would say Haunting in Connecticut. Also a good movie and not too scary. actually maybe that one first. Whichever you like. but the others is wayyy better. Tylenol PM also helps unless you are like me and it doesnt effect you… even when you take 8… which is appearantly a deadly dose so I don't recommend it! Oh and with that… make sure you NEVER take any herbal sleeping medication. that will be BAD! You need to understand that "the Fourth Kind" is only a movie. you don't have anything to be afraid of– your mother and sisters always go to sleep without a problem, don't they? just start using a night-light, or play the radio or television (if you have a radio/tv in your room) while you go to sleep. There's NOTHING out to get you, and you don't need a doctor to tell you that. Remember that aliens and ghosts aren't real, and if they are, they aren't interested in abducting or bothering you. just try to get comfortable and get some good sleep in your own bed, by yourself. just play soft music, tv, or leave a light on. Good luck! Im so scared to sleep, please help me!?

I got a good chuckle out of it (especially the koala getting socked in the face) but if it became aired on a regular basis I would probably light myself on fire right before kicking the stool out from under my legs.

I am referring to Alexandria Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Montgommery and Howard counties in Virginia and Maryland respectively. Are these places clean? Are they cleaner than most of America? What about the Noerthwestern quadrant of Wahington DC? I mean the one that has Georgetown...is it clean too? To those who have visited these places or lived there...when you went to other parts in America, did you find other places to be cleaner, safer, having more facilities, having more friendly people or not? How would you rank the wealthy suburbs of DC with the rest of the places that you've been to?

I grew up in Montgomery County near Bethesda/Rockville area so I'm mostly familiar with Montgomery County not as much with the VA suburbs but I would say for the most part the suburbs are "clean", yes... And certainly safe as well. And probably because it is one of the wealthiest counties in the country it has very good local services - one of the best public school systems in the country and a lot of other local services. That said, I would say the people there are not friendly. They are extremely self-centered and egotistic, and just not friendly. Traffic is bad (the whole D.C. area is known for having bad traffic and actually I believe northern VA is even worse than MD... but Montgomery County still has terrible traffic). It doesn't seem to have a lot of character either - a lot of general suburbs with boxy houses that could be anywhere. The restaurant scene is improving but there aren't as many good restaurants as other cities. Bethesda has a few bars that are pretty good and Silver Spring is becoming a more trendy area but other than that it's very suburban. Public transit is also not as extensive as some - there are a couple commuter rail lines that have extremely limited service and also the D.C. Metro (subway) goes into Montgomery County as far north as Gaithersburg or Silver Spring/Wheaton at opposite ends of the Red Line. Northwest DC is certainly the "nicest" (probably the cleanest and safest part of the city) but I wouldn't say it's clean compared to some cities.

I truly enjoy watching Star Trek Voyager. Above all the other ST series, STV has intelligence and creativity that supercedes the others. I really admire Janeway and the role model she provides to young girls. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong century! 1. The Maquis was the anti-Cardassian resistance movement. They were considered outlaws by the Federation. They were an underground movement made up of assorted other planetary colonists who refused to give up their home planets in the Federation's negotiations to the Cardassians. The Maquis felt the Federation abandoned them in order to maintain an uneasy treaty btwn the Cardassians and the Federation. 2. Kathryn Janeway's pet was an irish setter dog named Molly. When Voyager left Earth, Kathryn had just found out that her beloved dog (who was in her fiance's care) was expecting puppies. 3. * B'elanna Torres, Lt. Chief of Engineering * Lt. Tom Paris (once busted to Ensign) Pilot, * Lt. Commander Tuvok, Chief of Security * Commander Chakotay, First Officer (and anthropologist) *Emergency Medical Hologram, The Doctor * Ensign Harry Kim - longest serving ensign in the history of StarFleet *Kes - a young woman from Ocampa that is rescued by Voyager and becomes adept in helping the Doctor in sick bay and growing vegetables in the airponics bay *Neelix, a Talaxian (former junk trader), Kes' lover, crew moral officer and cook (yum - love that leola root stew!) *7 of 9, former Borg drone *And, of course, Kathryn Janeway 4. NCC 74656 5. The Void 6. Mark Johnson 7. Libby Webber 8. The Caretaker - a sporocystian life form 9. 7 of 9 was the former Annika Hansen, the daughter of sociologists who were interested in the Borg. They were able to observe the Borg in a cube, undetected, until whoops! Annika was assimilated at a very young age and placed in a maturation chamber. Long story short, during an alliance with the Borg, 7 of 9 was severed from the collective, taken under Janeway's wing to recover her humanity. The Doctor removed most of her Borg implants and she is the brainiac in Astrometrics. Lovely girl. 10. Eye of the Needle 11. Voyager, The Next Generation, Enterprise, DS9 and ST the original series. 12. Favorite episode of Voyager - Year of Hell

According to a test I took, I am an economic leftist and a social moderate-to-conservative. As far as social issues go, I am strongly opposed to sex outside of marriage, abortion, our society's crumbling social structure, rising crime rates, broken families and too-high divorce rates. Also, as an African-American woman, I feel Democrats have done more to hurt blacks and women than help us. However, as far as economic issues go, I am more in tune with liberals. For example, I am charitable and strongly concerned about the environment, and would rather support family farms and businesses than support globalism, large corporations and megafarms. I care about issues affecting the middle class and poor as opposed to rich people's problems. According to politicalcompass.org, I supposedly rank on an area on the "political quadrant" close to Pope Benedict XVI, Robert Mugabe, Gandhi, and Mamoud Abbas. Don't judge, just tell me which running candidate suits my values the best. Thanks:-)

I'm telling you honestly that Hillary fits what you're saying more than the other candidates. I do support her personally, but I read what you wrote. Hillary is pro-choice, but voted to ban partial birth abortion. You'll have to go with a Republican if that's your main issue. Hillary is very concerned about healthcare and has been for years. She has a history of political activism to benefit the less-fortunate, even as a very young woman.
