pay off all credit cards starting w/ the highest interest. call the companies you owe and ask for help. You can negotiate with Credit Card Companies.
Say you owe $4000 on a CC…and you call and say ' I have 5 others I owe as well, and $1600 in the bank. Will you settle for this amount? otherwise i'll settle with one of the other 5" Just work at paying it off.
It takes some time. I know in the UK the easiest way to improve your credit rating is to enrol to vote. Otherwise I agree with the earlier posts, offer ways to settle your debt or combine all your debt so you only have the one set of repayments to make each month. Good luck!
