i got a new laptop which is still under warranty that is why i don't want to open it. For some reason my window vista got corrupted and i had some important files in it which i want to recover. could anybody please tell me how can i recover this data without opening my laptop. i don't have any recovery disk so i need to install windows from original cd.
With Windows Vista you do not need a recovery disk. Your laptop should have a recovery feature that doesn't require a disk. Go to Start Menu, All Programs, Recovery Manager. Click Advanced Options, Recovery disc creation. this should all be in your manaual. you can always go to the Help Menu as well.
