Google enlists nsa to defend its data

We can say as a general matter, however, that as part of its longstanding Information Assurance (IA) Mission, NSA works with a broad range of commercial partners and research associates to ensure the availability of secure tailored solutions for DoD and national security systems customers today and cutting-edge technologies that will secure the information systems of tomorrow.

Since you are asking this question, i advice you to take a look at the python language. It's easy and it teaches you good habits (like in having clean code). It also introduces you to OOP (Object oriented programming) Anyways here are some books i would advice you for python: http://www.swaroopch.com/notes/Python http://openbookproject.net/thinkCSpy/index.xhtml Here is the python inteprenter: I advice you pick 2.5.x or 2.6 http://www.python.org/download/ When you feel brave enough and want to do some GUI: http://wiki.wxpython.org/ Have fun ;)
