Chronopolicy.com is offering a new employee scheduling and performance monitoring service entirely on the web. You can view a live demonstration of what this software can do to standardize your employee workforce right from their website. The administrator section allows you to create departments, employees, and administrators, as well as customize company information and review real-time employee activity reports. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the user-friendly interface and how much you can accomplish once you’ve logged on. Much like Windows Server 2003 Active Directory, you can create custom policy settings for departments and employees that define how the employee is allowed to interact while using the program. This includes hours of access for work, break, and lunch periods and a group of advanced settings for setting the days per week, hours per day, breaks per day, minutes per break, minutes per lunch, and many more. Employees are graded at the end of the work day based on their performance against these settings. Once you’ve set up your employee policies, getting your employees online to use the service is a snap. Take a look at their web site. URL: http://www.chronopolicy.com/

I don't know whether this is the best, but look at: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Business/Project_Management/actiTIME___Free_Web_Based_Timesheet.html

My company is in a need for timesheet software. We need solution that is cheap, simple and reliable. Preferably the solution we can install on our servers so all employees can use it. It needs to have: - time reporting - each employee can enter type of work, name of work item, comments and how long he worked on that. - costs - it needs to account and be able to report how much anyone costs, what are spents in company, etc. - reporting - it needs to have good chart reports where we can see what project was worked the most, and what type of work was the mostly done. Please if you know something you can recommend help us choose the correct one.

The employees are the life and blood of the companies. Productivity matters a lot. It is on the top list as always. Any boss surely expects his employees to deliver nothing but their best. However, there are cases when productivity is not always met and at times the company has to face some inevitable expenses as brought about by the unmonitored activities of the working staff. The issue concerning the close monitoring of the time spent by the workers has always been a problem to many business firms. Not only do they think about the hard task of preparing the payroll, tracking down the progress of specific projects and products, but also with keeping an eye on the attendance of the personnel. Time tracking solutions stand as an ultimate resort to this problem. One of the most sought-after methods is the use of the web clock. It is not only innovative but everything is centralized as well. The web clock is not your ordinary physical clock as it is embedded into the Internet. Among its general uses are simplifying the preparation of the payroll, attendance and time tracking, as well as the great possibility of lessening mistakes and uncalled for expenditures. With the highly advanced technology that is featured in the web clock, you can be certain that it will be of great help in boosting the profitability potentials of your company. A Reinvented Time Tracking Solution One of the basic advantages of the web clock or web time tracking solution is that one can actually clock in and clock out wherever they are. Likewise, the managers or human resource officers can take a peek at the attendance or progress information board by simply using their computer units. The conventional time clock or Bundy clock requires the person to travel all the way to where the device is located, endure long lines, and at times make mistakes with the data. Through all of these, time gets wasted. However, with the web-based time tracking system, you can be assured of all accuracies. The same system is held useful not only for the typical employees but also for those freelance workers who actually get paid on a per project basis. Cutting Down the Costs The conventional time tracking devices still require a lot of maintenance and some other essential accessories such as those of the servers, cables, and other networking stuff. On the other hand, a web clock or time tracking system does not have any prerequisite hardware. You'll no longer have to spend on the technological upgrades and the likes. It simply works at a smooth pace. Time Monitoring Made Easy The stereotype paper time sheet nonetheless calls for the entry of several data. Yet, with the use of the web-based time tracking solution, not only are the loads of paperwork eliminated but also the manual effort of filling out all the necessary details asked for in the specific documents. The system is therefore user-friendly at all costs. Since it's web-based, the employees can always check out their previous attendances and check out the pace of their progress. Needless to say, time tracking solutions is one of the triumphs that today's technology can boast of. It is certainly among the best solutions that may be applied by the small, medium, and large business firms.

I have an access database that I want to convert to a web based interface. I already have an exchange server with OWA on it that I would like to use. Here is what I need for this software to be able to do: Client Management Job Management - Auto Assign Job Number and Auto-increment Be able to attach Scanned documents to Jobs Be able to link jobs to clients. Be able to prepare billing statements based on jobs. Be able to create records of received goods by serial number and attach them to both client and job. Employee Management Timesheet input Report creation (such as hours worked for submitting to payroll, client reports, stock reports, reconciliation reports for billing, etc) Auto Document Creation (I.E. as soon as a new case is created and information entered about client and job, specific reports should generate and then print for customer to sign) Thanks in advance for the ideas.
