Follow the steps below in order to resolve these problems. 1)Start with the device plugged in. 2)Right-click “Computer” and select properties, then select “Device Manager” in the left pane. 3)In Device Manager, locate “Sound Video and Game controllers” and click the plus sign to expand the category.
4)Locate the listing for the DVD Xpress DX2 and right-click, selecting to uninstall the device. Select to delete the driver files as well. 5)Once uninstalled, disconnect the device from your USB.
5)Close Device Manager and then locate the file, remsvcs. reg in the folder with these instructions.
Double-click on the file. 6)Confirm to make the changes and once they are complete, you should reboot the system.
7)Once booted, reconnect the unit and continue with the instructions in the second half of this document (including the reboot at the end). Installing for the first time 1)Click Start – Control Panel – System and Maintenance – System- Advanced System Settings – Hardware – Windows Update Driver Settings. Select Ask Me Each Time I connect a new Device and press OK. 2)After extracting this archive, plug the DX2 into a USB port that is directly connected to the motherboard.
