Apple admits ipad wifi woes
“I wouldn’t let anyone go home tonight at Apple until this Wi-Fi problem has been licked. Let’s see some action here folks,” the customer said.
Apple sold more than 300,000 iPads in the United States during the first day it was on sale, according to the company. In addition, users downloaded more than 1 million applications from Apple’s App Store and more than 250,000 electronic books from the company’s new iBookstore the next day.
Apple is expected to sell 7.1 million iPads worldwide this year, iSuppli says.
The market research firm is also predicting that sales will reach 14.4 million next year and 20.1 million in 2012.

I have a copy of this program from a few years ago and, in my opinion, it stinks. The commands are limited and the graphics are dated (at least this is the case with the version I have). You are better of getting an affordable version of Architectural Desktop, Autodesk, VIZ, or AutoCADD. Have you ever visited the Cad Store website? I believe the website is www.cadstore.com (google it to be sure). These programs vary in difficulty but are overall great tools (all with 3D capabilities and cabinetry templates available) that you could easily master with a little practice. The Good luck!

I grew up in such a house. From left to right across the front of the house: garage - living room (front door into right edge of living room)- master bedroom. back of the house, left to right: kitchen with eating area (same size as living room (back stairs to garage and basement on the left side) - bathroom, smaller bedroom. Hall dividing the house, running between the smaller bedroom and linen cupboard, built over the basement stairs. Nothing remarkable in the basement... water heater, forced air furnace, washer hookup. House built 1947, brick front, steel siding elsewhere, pitched roof. 750 sq ft.

I agree with miley that your machine is too old. You would have to upgrade your motherboard, and your old memory would have to go, since it wouldn't work on your new mobo. Then your processor would need to be replaced for your new mobo. And your hard drive is way to small for todays standards. Then you would have to get a new power supply to power all these new items, and if your Compaq is one that won't allow motherboard replacement, then you are looking at buying a new case. So: Motherboard Memory CPU (processor) Hard drive Power supply possibly new Case Video card Accessories ( such as cables, and stuff) So in essence, you are building a whole new computer. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new one, and if not, at least it would be more convenient by not having to rebuild the old one, which is a process that requires time and some skill. Check out Hp and Dell, for buys (sales) and also see what online stores offer, such as Mwave.com, Newegg.com and Tigerdirect.com, to name a few. By the way, if you decide to re build, these online stores also offer all the stuff you need. And take a look at this http://askbobrankin.com/how_to_buy_a_computer.html
