Ok, I would like honest respectful answers. Im not looking for any sarcasm or smart a__ comments please. Thanks in advance. I am 30 years old, married and have a baby. I have been in a career field I cant stand for about 10 years now (customer service, call center) and more specifically working for a company (a major bank) that I'm convinced is the devil. They do not care about their employees or their customers. I am told to basically tell customers that there is nothing I can do to solve the problem they called about, but I better sell them a checking account or I might get fired. I dread everyday. I drag myself into the office. Every minute Im looking for a way out. I feel like I am never good enough at my job and I feel like I could be fired any minute for the dumbest thing, like not meeting a quota or not reading a customer a script. I work in an office with the lowest morale and the most unhappy group of chumps just like myself. The high point of my day is when the "junk food cart" comes by my desk. My job cares about me SO much that when they see Im down and having a bad day they bring candy to my desk to "make it all better". I have a job where I sit all day might I add. I feel my job is causing me to be depressed. It is affecting my marriage because I am in a bad mood most of the time because of work, and its causing me to gain weight. I dont want to eat right or work out because Im so depressed. Its a vicious cycle. My job pays somewhat well, and has great benefits. Thats what keeps me there. I want to better myself and go after my dream of being a counselor. But Im scared. What should I do?

I made an appointment with my long time physician for a flu shot. Upon arriving, the nurse confirmed my reason for the visit while taking my blood pressure, etc. I sat in the room for 35 minutes before the Dr. came in. He informed me they were out of flu shots at which time I asked why I wasn't called or told before hand. He apologized and then asked if I had any other concerns. I told him jokingly "Only if you have a miracle cure for getting old. This old body is slowing down". He took out his script pad, wrote something, and then told me to take it to the front desk. Upon handing it to the receptionist, she pulled out a bottle of "juice" and asked for $45. I was confused and asked her what it was and why it wasn't billable to my insurance. She said it was a new product the Dr. strongly believed in. A miracle juice high in antioxidants, replaces my vitamins, and has been known to prevent certain types of cancers. It's not medicine and therefor, not billable". I had my daughter look this up and found out it is an MLM juice product. I feel ripped off. I don't think my Dr. should get any money for this office visit. Do I have a recourse that will make him realize that patients don't go to office visits to buy juice? I didn't purchase it. I gave my daughter the brochure. My question pertains to the Dr.'s failure to be ethical and consequently, billing my insurance for a visit that never should have been.
